How we handle your details
Headline Site Calculator results run in your browser. Your details and site inputs are sent only when you take an explicit action: emailing the full screening report or using the optional site map’s search and route-profile buttons.

Who collects it
Siphonic Systems in New Zealand collects and holds the details you explicitly submit through the full site screening report form.
What is collected
Before you submit, the Site Calculator values stay in your browser — the optional site map described below is the one exception. To email the full screening report, we collect your name, email, optional phone number, site label and the measurements used in the screen.
The optional site map
If you use “Find the route on a map”, the address you search and the route points you profile are sent to our server, which passes them to Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) to return address matches and ground elevations. We keep no copy — the lookups pass through and are not stored by us. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and LINZ keep operational request logs under their own privacy policies, which govern what those logs contain and how long they are retained. The map imagery itself loads directly from LINZ, so the map area you are viewing is visible to LINZ the way any map website is; your typed address and your route points are never part of those imagery requests.
Why it is collected
To email your screening report, let Siphonic Systems follow up on that site, and respond to your enquiry about the Water Siphon. Details are not added to a mailing list or used for unrelated marketing.
How it is held
Resend acts only as the email delivery processor. A screening PDF is emailed to you and the approved Siphonic Systems recipient. The website creates no visitor account and keeps no database copy. Resend processes the email in the United States and standard plans retain email data for approximately 30 days. Open and click tracking are disabled. The Siphonic Systems mailbox is the active enquiry record.
How long it is kept
We keep an active screening report enquiry and its mailbox record while it is active and for up to 24 months after the last contact, then delete it from active enquiry records. If it becomes a contracted project or business transaction, relevant information moves into the applicable project or business records and follows the retention requirements for those records.
Seeing, correcting, or removing it
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request earlier deletion unless Siphonic Systems is legally required to keep particular information. Email info@watersiphon.co.nz and say what you would like done.
